SIEMENS AG (Event Program)
The Event / Congress Management business field at SIEMENS GSS PML / Mobility Services
has been in existence since December 2000. Its function is to provide the infrastructure
for delivering a professional event management service. This is based on a strategic
management concept and a defined company-specific e-business platform.
A large number of events such as workshops, meetings with customers, seminars or
product presentations take place within SIEMENS on a daily basis.
To meet the rising demand for such high-quality events, transparent and targeted
information and data about suppliers of event services are available on the GSS
PML / Mobility Services intranet website. It also offers and shows the conference
packages and group rates of hotels - which have a master agreement with SIEMENS
- for all SIEMENS Event Manager in a web-based hotel database.
With this rate finding process (via ratefinding.com) SIEMENS select the contract
hotels in the service field “Events”.
Hotels/hotel chains, which are pre-selected by SIEMENS, are able to quote rates
in ratefinding.com.
Please assure that the ratefinding process is completed latest by September 15th,
2008 since the internet portal will be closed the next day.
